What our agents have to say about
RE/MAX North - San Antonio:

Here I am at my two-year anniversary, and who would have thought the success that I have would be so incredible. Two years ago I decided to go back to work and I chose to go into real estate because I wanted to have my own hours and I wanted something part-time. Yeah right, not after being a RE/MAX agent. My first year I was Newcomer of the Year with Platinum Top 50 (a great honor), and this year has been as productive as the first.......and next year is looking even better.

RE/MAX has been a true breath of fresh air. After being with both an independent Broker, and a franchise Broker, I was so "relieved" when I learned of the "RE/MAX Way" - agents have a say in their own business decisions! It is so very true that agents at RE/MAX are in business for themselves, but not by themselves! The entire staff at RE/MAX North - San Antonio has the agent's best interests at heart.

RE/MAX and RE/MAX North - San Antonio have been 2 of the primary keys to my success as a Realtor. I have had several clients who have found me through the RE/MAX website or other online avenues and who have sought out RE/MAX specifically because of the service and professionalism they have received in previous real estate transactions. The RE/MAX name is known and respected throughout the country and RE/MAX agents have the reputation as top agents in their respective markets.

In the San Antonio area, RE/MAX North - San Antonio has provided me, and all of its agents with ongoing education, training, assistance, and support. The RMNSA staff is always available to help, and our broker, Kate Keating, is just simply the best!

RE/MAX is like a "one stop shop" for REALTORS. We have everything you need to be successful and to increase your production.

I must say that in general buyers and sellers are more comfortable that I am associated with the RE/MAX name. They feel that I have reached the "level" associated with professional REALTORS; hence they trust my advice and opinions without question.

The education that is offered has always given me good ideas to improve or adjust my marketing.

Being able to enter into the business of Real Estate has been a longtime dream of mine. After supporting my husband in our family business for 20 years and then seeing my only child off to college this fall semester, I found myself faced with the opportunity to follow that dream. The Course requirements necessary for the Texas License were very informative, but truthfully, more than I expected. But, I did pass, and felt I was over my first hurdle towards becoming a REALTOR. Then came "THE" Test. I was so nervous and soon started reliving the stress involved with taking a "FINAL". Again, I passed, and was over my 2nd stumbling block. Finally, came the decision as to which Broker I would be working with. This to me was the hardest of all the steps needed to pursue my new career. It was very important to me to chose, the first time, a company that made me feel part of their team and who I thought would support me in all aspects of my new business. As I interviewed with different Brokers, it became more and more clear who that company was...RE/MAX North - San Antonio. From my first interview I could feel how important it was for Janie Thelen, Support Specialist and RE/MAX North - San Antonio, in general, to see me succeed. In fact, Janie was the first phone call I received after taking the State Test to check on how it had gone! As I visited their offices, I was always, greeted with warm smiles and handshakes, not only by Office Management, who are truly terrific, but also by the Realtors themselves, welcoming me to the business.

"Since we joined RE/MAX North - San Antonio our sales have doubled! The RE/MAX system and the perception by the public of the level of professionalism you receive when you hire a RE/MAX agent is unmatched by any other companies.

The support is there for all agents that want to excel!

I was licensed June 2001 and initially started my real estate career with a local broker here in San Antonio. In 2002 a national broker, whom I remained with for an additional two years, bought out the brokerage. December 2004, I made the decision to move my business to RE/MAX North - San Antonio. In making the move, it was very important for me to continue with a reputable and professional name in the industry. After visiting with several brokers, I choose RE/MAX and more important, the management and training team of the RE/MAX North - San Antonio franchise.

I interviewed Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper on Pat Booker, Century 21 Smith & Associates on Kitty Hawk, Realty Executives Simmons on I-35, and Keller Williams on Blanco.

  • Coldwell Banker was too corporate--they charge a transaction fee that goes to them and does not allow an agent to charge a transaction fee.
  • Century 21 Smith and Associates was too broker friendly--giving the better leads to the broker.
  • Realty Executives was too small--duty agent is the receptionist!
  • Keller Williams was too crowded--lots of agents in too small a space.

I worked for four years at a local real estate agency in another town before coming to RE/MAX. Red, white and blue were also the colors at that previous broker. Most of my friends and clients assumed I worked for RE/MAX because, when they saw these colors related to real estate, RE/MAX comes to mind. So, now I’m happy to have that name brand recognition. (I was watching the TODAY show this morning and the real estate segment was sponsored by RE/MAX!!).

Since coming to RE/MAX, I have learned even more about all the training, marketing tools and lead generation RE/MAX has to offer (and I am sure I have just hit the tip of the iceberg). Design Center was so easy to use to make beautiful door hangers to market my neighborhood. I did this myself, without the help of my technical advisor (husband). The training offered is superb. I have created my own web site (which is free) and am able to make changes when ever I desire (again, on my own!!!- well, with the help of the training).
